A room with history.
For many years local characters took up monthly residence in the different rooms of the Holiday Hotel.
It was home to River Boatmen, Naturalists, Hippies, and an array of free spirited individuals interested in solitude, inspiration, and chili cookoffs.
The last of a long line of characters to live at the Holiday Hotel was musician "Uh Clem."
This room is dedicated to all of those free spirits throughout the history of Terlingua that helped to make the Ghost Town such a wonderful place.
Decorated with a rustic, but elegant flair, there is a Queen-sized bed, comfortable leather chair, and a spacious and unique bathroom.
Rollaway Beds are available for an additional $20/day.
Uh Clem's bathroom features a grotto shower made of local flagstone. The pedestal sink is hand carved from fossilized stone.
The Big Bend Holiday Hotel is Owned and Operated by the Bill Ivey family.
Each Room has NO Cable Television OR Telephone. Enjoy the break.
Free wireless internet is usually available via fiber optic cable.
Breakfast is not provided, but all rooms have coffeemakers and our special blend of coffee.
A mini-fridge and a microwave oven are available in every room.
Room Service is very expensive and requires 48 hours notice.
