THE OWNER'S SHACK
Candidly referred to as The Owner’s Shack among local residents, because this is where the present owner of Terlingua camps out and enjoys the starry nights when all other accommodations are rented.
Originally this small one room rock casita was reserved for honeymoon couples during the early days of Terlingua. It was isolated from surrounding neighbors, making for amazing memories.
Surrounded by deep canyons on three sides and isolated from most of the town, this small casita was the perfect romantic getaway during the early mining era.
Completely “off the grid,” you can relive the early mining days of Terlingua. This casita offers no indoor plumbing or electricity. Bottled drinking water is provided, there is an old fashioned out-house, and visitors have access to a local public shower. The small casita has room for 2 twin sized beds, with additional cots.
