The living area of the El Patron Suite.

EL PATRON SUITE

The El Patron Suite is suitable for business meetings, but they're frowned on around the Ghost Town. Instead, have a few amigos/amigas join you for a festive evening. Walk over to the famous Terlingua Cemetery to greet the ghosts, or just watch the sunset with everyone on the porch over at the Trading Post. Bring your guitar (but not the accordion.)

This is the Ivey family's homestead and it is still frequently used by your hosts, Bill and Lisa Ivey, and their three boys (as well as a wide assortment of relatives and friends. But -- when they aren't using the family hideout/getaway -- they share it.

The family-friendly nature of the Rock House makes it perfect for all kinds of get-togethers. Family reunions, Boy Scout and Girl Scout outings, church retreats, hunting parties, and office barbecues, and wedding celebrations.

The Rock House overlooks the spectacular wilderness mountains of Mexico and is surrounded by the peacful grandeur of the Big Bend Ranch State Park.

THE PERRY MANSION

For years, only the hardiest locals inhabited the sturdy ruins, but recently a few insightful archeologists/visionaries began a spare-no-expense renovation that is repairing history.

Inside the Owner's Shack.

THE OWNER'S SHACK

Candidly referred to as the owner’s shack among local residents, because this is where the present owner of Terlingua would camp out and enjoy the starry nights when all the other accommodations were rented. Originally this small one room rock casita was reserved for honeymoon couples during the early days of Terlingua. It was isolated from surrounding neighbors making for amazing memories. Surrounded by deep canyons on three sides and isolated from most of the town, this small casita was the perfect romantic getaway during the early mining era. Completely “off the grid,” you can relive the early mining days of Terlingua. This casita offers no indoor plumbing or electricity. Bottled drinking water is provided, there is an old fashioned out-house, and visitors have access to a local public shower. The small casita has room for 2 twin sized beds, with additional cots.
